Netflix‘s new and unsettling thriller series, Wayward, is dominating streaming charts. The series, which stars Toni Collette and has drawn comparisons to Twin Peaks and its small town mysteries, reveals numerous dark secrets about Tall Pines Academy, an institution where “troubled” teenagers are sent for rehabilitation.
Wayward‘s ending has proven to be divisive, as has the entire series. It holds a fresh critical score of 74% on Rotten Tomatoes, while the audience score is 49%.
